The big night. A few pictures of Ashley getting ready. The idea of wearing makeup is one of the most exciting experiences. Ashley performed well and the Spring Showcase was amazing.
Ashley and her teacher, Ms. M.C. posing after a wonderful performance.
Congratulations from brother, Daddy, Omi, Mommy, and one of Tony's former students who Ashley admires. She played "Clara" in the Nutcracker production we attended in December. She even gave Ashley a picture of her in that performance. What a treat!
Happy Father's Day, Daddy! Ashley made her Daddy a stained glass jar and Ezra helped fill it with his favorite candy. A great evening with family and friends.
Since we don't get to record during the actual performance, here is the dress-rehearsal video from Ashley's dance class and a couple of pictures. She did very well and seems quite comfortable being on stage.

A big day for Ashley. Since Dec. 22 is her actual birthday, we've always had a party for her in June. June 19 was her day this year. The theme: FANCY NANCY. The stage was set for everything fancy. Tiara's, dress-up, candy jewelry, tea sandwiches, strawberry and chocolate milk, butterflies, games, crafts, and even a magic show from our good friend Bill! Fun had by all. Even Ezra was into the celebration. I (Laurie) made the cake. It was an enjoyable experience and my first using fondant! A wonderful day to say the least.
Down at Burfoot Park with some good friends visiting from So Cal. Holding a Moon Snail was one of the highlights of this adventure. Later, Lattin's Farm was the source of some animal feeding, cider donut eating, and photo opportunities. Ashley just loved having a baby to hold and play with. Zoe was very attended to.
Some pics of our old hot tub being removed and returned. Amazing that it fit in this truck and was moved by 3 young and rather small-statured men, as well as Tony and myself. Incredible! The tub weighed over 1200 lbs.
