Updates from the last year?!!??!

At the beginning of September, Ashley began ballet and tap lessons at a different studio than where she was last year. She absolutely loves her teachers and has made several friends from class. The first video shows her doing a "monkey" dance and the second is the tail end of that same class. They always end on a quieter note and curtsey with thanks to their teacher.

September brought warm and sunny weather. We harvested about 15 pumpkins (of the sugar variety) from our garden. The kids thought it was a blast trasporting the little gems to the patio table. They would stop and eat grapes each time. We had a plethera of grapes this year. It was so much fun going out each day and eating a bunch or more. They were so sweet! There is also a picture of Ashley dressed as "Super Sweeper Girl" that she doned spontaneously one day, as well as some flowers picked specifically for the beginning of Fall from my yard and garden.

In July and August we made two trips to Mt. Rainier National Park. The first was us, the kids, Tony's parents, and his brother, Chris and wife, Martine. The clouds were low and we couldn't see a thing. Later, Tony went back with his parents and these are just a sampling of the views they saw. Hopefully we'll get to go back as a family again next summer.
